Will is wrapping up plans for a sequel to Hancock, but there is a bit of a holdup: Producers are trying to get Charlize Theron on board for the project too, Page Six reports.
Will is also in talks for a follow-up to I Am Legend, a thriller where Manhattan is taken over by zombies in the not-too-distant future. So how’s Will going to pull off a sequel to a movie where he died at the end? He’s not! The next installment is actually going to be a prequel.
“It will be about how the disease spreads and the fall of the last great American city,” one of Will’s reps told Page Six. “It will also develop the relationship between Will’s character and his wife.”
We can’t wait to see that one come together, even if we do know how it ends already.
