This year is starting on a high note for Jennifer Hudson, who is slowly stepping back into the spotlight.
Jennifer Hudson will be singing the National Anthem at Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa, Florida, on February 1, according to E! Online.
This will be a comeback of sorts for Jennifer, who tried returning to work back in December, just a few months after the tragic triple murder of her mother, brother and nephew. Jennifer would have been shooting the video for her single “If This Isn’t Love,” but she decided she needed a bit more time. The decision to scrap the video shoot wasn’t a total shock to many.
Back in October, Jen’s mother, Darnell Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and nephew Julian King were all found shot to death. William Balfour, Jennifer’s estranged brother-in-law, has been charged with their murders.
