Angie Stone was arrested for riding dirty while making her way to church over the weekend.
TMZ.com reports that Georgia police interrupted Angie’s time with the Lord on Sunday when she was taken into custody for driving with a suspended license.
The arrest came as a surprise for the soulful R&B singer because, her rep claims, she didn’t know she even had a warrant for her arrest.
Angie’s license was suspended after she left an old speeding ticket unpaid. Reportedly, the singer changed addresses recently and the physical ticket was never forwarded to her new home.
She has since paid off the debt and is working to clear up any other legal problems on her plate.
