Rihanna cropped her hair for last night’s appearance at the Country Music Awards.
The music world was scratching its head when news broke that Rihanna would debut her next single, “California King Bed,” on the CMAs. But, when she hit the stage Sunday night with Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, it all made sense.
“California King Bed” will be the fourth single, and the first slow song, from Rihanna’s current album, Loud.
The country-inspired ballad was a hit with the crowd as she belted out the lines with Jen’s vocals backing her up. Rihanna held her own with Jennifer, who is known for her powerhouse pipes.
RiRi definitely came out on top in the style department, though. She rocked a near pixie cut and put a little western flair in her outfit with a fringe shirt and white leather skirt. See how she rocked the stage in the clip below, and tell us what you think of her new single.
