“I’m in no rush,” Tahj told Sister 2 Sister. “I’m taking the steps. I have a girlfriend, so that’s good.”
Tahj’s sister Tamera Mowry-Housley has a newborn at home, and her twin, Tia Mowry-Hardrict, will be celebrating her son’s second birthday soon.
While uncle duty keeps Tahj surrounded by his fair share of babies, his sitcom, “Baby Daddy,” takes it to the extreme, as he’s acting alongside an infant, too.
On the ABC Family series, Tahj plays Tucker Dobbs, a 20-something whose best friend’s ex leaves their child on his doorstep. The fictional fellas do what any guys would do and decide to raise the baby together.
“So I’m constantly surrounded by babies,” Tahj said, “and I do not want my own right now. There’s something so great about being with your nephew and when you’re tired, just handing him off back to your sister,” said Tahj who added that he’s a great uncle and admits he spoils his sisters’ kids.
“I always joke with people that having nephews is the best birth control there is,” he said.
Like his sisters, when it’s his turn to become a dad, Tahj said he wants to already be wed.
