Michelle Williams responds to critics

Michelle Williams isn’t concerned with how anyone else feels about her Super Bowl performance. She had a great time!

"It was an honor to share the stage with my sisters Kelly Rowland and Beyoncé on Sunday night," Michelle said in a statement on her Facebook page before giving a special word of advice to women everywhere. "To all my ladies, we must learn to stick together and support each other. The incredible Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson did an amazing job, too! Thank you to my sister Beyoncé for sharing your moment with Destiny’s Child. Love you!"

That second line might have been a direct rebuttal to Keyshia Cole’s claims that Michelle messed up Bey’s spectacular set. But Keyshia was not the only one who thought Michelle’s performance wasn’t quite on par with Kelly and Beyonce’s level of divadom.

Michelle’s detractors and Internet jokesters have gotten a pretty good chuckle from her guest spot on Sunday. In particular, PoorMichelle.com has highlighted some of the cracks being made about Michelle, who isn’t letting anyone’s opinion sour her memory of the night.

"People at home watching … they don’t catch the moments where, like in the ‘Charlie’s Angels’ pose, I was smiling," Michelle told the Huffington Post. "We were all smiling. I was laughing with my girls. I don’t care what anybody else says. I don’t let it get me down. It was a beautiful thing."
