Star Jones said she’s not letting her “Celebrity Apprentice” nemesis NeNe Leakes drag her into the mud.
Star said that she’s trying her best not to engage in all the confrontation because she hasn’t got the time for it. And even if she did, she still isn’t sinking to NeNe’s level.
“You never get involved in a pig fight,” Star told Popeater.com. “If you do, three things happen: you get dirty, you get tired and only the pig has fun. It diminishes me to talk about her. I have so many other things going on in my life.”
Taking the high road isn’t always an easy thing for Star, who admits that things got really heated for her while taping “The Celebrity Apprentice.” In fact, when she’s the most fired up, Star knows she has to reign herself in.
“In my heart, I think ‘pray, don’t act crazy, your grandmother is watching, your sorority sisters are watching, you were raised better than this,’” Star explained before getting in a jab at NeNe. “I know there are people that value my opinion. Plus, I’m not 20 minutes off the pole.”
