Sheree Whitfield wants one Atlanta blogger to stay away from Chateau Sheree.
The former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member claims she is being stalked by popular blogger TamaraTattles.
According to Court House News, Sheree is filing a “Petition for Stalking Temporary Protective Order” against TamaraTattles whose real name is Tamara Kay Brawner. Sheree claims Tamara was allegedly stalking her and violating her privacy by entering her home without her permission and taking photos without her consent.
Here is Sheree’s complaint:
“In October 2011 the respondent commenced an online blog about the petitioner’s home titled ‘Chateau Sheree,’ giving the online world a play-by-play of the construction progress of the petitioner’s home. The respondent then commenced additional online blogs regarding the petitioner’s legal proceedings, the petitioner’s business label, and delays in the petitioner’s home construction, the demise of the petitioner’s reality television career, and other disparaging remarks.”
Between October 2011 and February 2013, the respondent came onto the petitioner’s property and took pictures, which the respondent subsequently posted to her online blog. On 2/18/2013 the respondent gained access into the petitioner’s home, without the petitioner’s consent. The respondent collected photographs of the petitioner’s home and has also posted a detailed narrative of the floor plan of the interior of the petitioner’s home.
“RHOA” viewers may remember when Sheree introduced the world to her home during season 4 of the show. It was jokingly referred to as Chateau Sheree.
During the season 4 reunion show, NeNe Leakes referred to the house as “Never Land” and said, “The time I saw it, it was up looking like a box. I’m not sure she’s going to be moving in it.”
Sheree told her co-stars on camera that she expected to be residing in the home by January 2012. However, according to Tamara’s blog, the home isn’t completed yet.
As stated in the complaint, TamaraTattles recently featured an in-depth look at the construction of Sheree’s home in Atlanta. On her blog she posted photos of the construction progress and explained how she entered the home and what the interior looked like to date, even going so far as to relay the status of the plumbing. But Sheree was obviously far from flattered by the attention and accused Tamara of stalking.
Ashleigh Merchant, a representative for TamaraTattles, who claims to be her attorney, submitted a statement in response to Sheree’s complaint.
“We believe this order to be completely baseless and look forward to defending against it and, ultimately, having the entire action dismissed at the upcoming hearing in the matter. There has been no ‘stalking’ or any illegal conduct on behalf of my client and we believe that will be more than evident when my client has her day in court.”
It seems Sheree can’t stay out of court. In the fall, she won her case against former husband Bob Whitfield for child support totaling $75,000. But she was also faced with a judgment from the attorneys who represented her in her divorce case and has been ordered to pay more than $119,000 in resulting legal fees. To put the icing on the cake, the IRS is after Sheree for $41,000 owed in back taxes.
With everyone coming for Sheree’s wallet, will she ever be able to move into her new home?
