While Kim and Kris’ marriage may have only lasted 72 days, their divorce is taking forever! This is mostly due to the fact tha Kris has been doggedly fighting for Kim to admit that she had no intention of remaining married to the Brooklyn Nets player and that their wedding was just for show.
Kim has vehemently denied his accusations and fought against them. Despite the fact that he’s been trying to drag out their split (ideally until after she delivered her baby with Kanye West), divorce proceedings have been begun despite his best efforts to halt them.
Now Life & Style has gotten their hands on a copy of the 165-page deposition from “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” producer Russell Jay, and it may be just what Kris needs to prove his case. The court document states that a number of scenes were “scripted, reshot or edited” to make Kris look like the bad guy–including his “surprise” wedding proposal!
Reportedly, Kim knew that Kris was going to pop the question, but Russell claims that she had them re-shoot the scene because “she didn’t like how her face looked” when Kris popped the question.
There’s also evidence that not only was the proposal planned for TV, but so was their split! The deposition hints that Kim and her team had crafted a divorce narrative for the show. The document also confirms gossip that the “Kardashians” scene where Kim tells her mom Kris Jenner that she was having second thoughts about her marriage was actually shot after Kim filed divorce in October 2011.
