Kandi Burruss is dropping some hints on when she and Todd Tucker will jump the broom!
After Todd popped the question at the top of 2013 and she showed off her 2-carat engagement ring, Kandi has kept pretty quiet about wedding plans. But the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star revealed that she and her hubby to be have agreed on when they’ll be getting hitched!
“We do have a date,” Kandi told E! News at the Atlanta premiere of Temptation. “It’s early next year, but we’re not telling anyone [the exact date].”
She hinted that fans may need to keep watching “RHOA” to find out more about her wedding date.
In the meantime, she’s taking one piece of marital advice to heart. “Well, I learned from ‘Housewives’ that I shouldn’t be giving other people advice about their marriage,” she told TheYBF.com, adding that this isn’t exactly a new idea to her. “My mama always said you’re not supposed to speak on other people’s marriages, so that’s my advice. Just mind your own business and don’t be trying to talk about it to other people who are not married.”
The musical genius added that she really felt bad about the way her cast mates were treating Porsha Stewart when talking about her marriage to Kordell Stewart, whom many of them believe is rather controlling of the “RHOA” newbie. “After I went back and watched it, I was like ‘oh that was wrong,’” said Kandi.
While Kandi likely won’t be talking about anyone else’s union from here on out, the bride-to-be did reveal that Bravo is not pleased with her decision to sue Kim Zolciak for her share of profits from “Tardy For The Party.”
“Well, [producers] don’t want me to sue her,” she explained. “You know when you’re on a show together, they say you’re not suppose to sue each other. But what I’m suing her for has nothing to do with the show.”
