Kelly Rowland talks style with Elle
Elle magazine snagged a little time for some girl talk with Kelly Rowland on its latest installment of "Elle Talk."
She chatted with the magazine about her expanding musical tastes. While she hasn’t forskaen her established urban sound in songs like "Motivation," Kelly’s succesfully branched out into dance music with "When Love Takes Over." She applauds other Urban artists for trying something new, too.
"The song I have on repeat right now would probably have to be Chris Brown’s ‘Beautiful People.’ It’s such an amazing record," Kelly told Elle. "As soon as I hear it, I can’t stop moving. And I smile so big and it’s great when music makes you do that."
Of course, while talking with Elle, Kelly also had to talk fashion. We love Kelly’s feminine style, but she’s making the most of current trends. "I’ve recently been into a lot of tribal things, tribal necklaces, tribal bracelets and things like that," she said. "I’m casual-sexy. I love designers but I’m not a designer whore."
It’s not clear whether the shoot is preparation for an Elle spread featuring Kelly, but we know she’s up to the challenge of working the camera.
Will.I.Am talks turn-offs and hygeine
Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas also sat down with Elle off-camera. Although the futurisitically artsy rapper is usually pretty quiet about his private life, he spoke with the magazine about his turn-offs.
"If she had condoms in her house, that would just f*ckin’ throw me off. That’s just tacky," he said. "I just think, like, if you’re into someone and you guys get to that level, then that’s something you should converse about together and say, ‘Hey, maybe we should get some.’"
And while he was on the topic of lady parts, he also made a case for why every woman should have baby wipes in their bathroom. Toilet paper alone will not do!
"Here’s proof on why people should have baby wipes. Get some chocolate, wipe it on a wooden floor, and then try to get it up with some dry towels," Will explained. "You’re going to get chocolate in the cracks. That’s why you gotta get them baby wipes."
So, ladies checking for Will.I.Am take note: Having condoms of your own is bad, but baby wipes are a must-have. Oh! And make sure you dry off the sink after using it. That’s another pet peeve for the B.E.P. frontman.
Donald Trump comments on Obama’s birth certificate
When President Barack Obama released the long-form of his Hawaii birth certificate, Donald Trump took it as a personal victory.
"I am so proud of myself. I got this guy to release his birth certificate. I’m really, really happy," Donald said at a press conference in New Hampshire yesterday.
Apparently, just the fact that the president produced his birth certficate, the same paper which Hawaiians use to obtain driver’s licenses, wasn’t enough. Donald wants proof that it is an authentic document.
"Now, we have to look at it. We have to see, is it real? Proper? What’s on it?" Donald said. "But I hope it checks out beautifully. I am really proud. I am really honored.”
Kevin knows to stay in his lane
Kevin Hart visited Jay Leno on Wednesday night to share his secrets to staying sane and grounded in Hollywood.
“I’m afraid of fame. I’m afraid of getting famous and going crazy. I think that’s what happens. When you reach a certain level of success, you go crazy,” Kevin explained. “To prevent that from happening, I stay in my financial lane.”
Kevin said hanging out with people who have more money than he does helps keep him humble.
Watch him tell the funny story of his biggest financial reality check.
“The Voice” coach Cee Lo Green recognized the bald, female contestant who sang “I Kissed a Girl” during the show’s Blind Audition phase, and so did a lot of “American Idol” fans.
Frenchie Davis, who was a favorite on the second season of the Fox hit, returned to the TV singing competition genre Tuesday night in hopes of finally realizing her dreams.
Unlike many “Idol” finalists, Frenchie wasn’t voted off the show by America. She was disqualified when topless photos of her became public.
Although it was Cee Lo who recognized her face, it was Christina Aguilera who chose to be her coach on the show.

Why Barack shouldn’t have had to show his ‘papers’
Goldie Taylor compares Donald Trump’s request for Barack Obama’s birth certificate and college transcripts to an 1899 incident with her great, great grandfather who was forced to show his “papers” before being released from a prison where he was beaten and abused.
“In a stunning show of unchecked ego, Donald Trump quickly hosted a press conference. He took credit for forcing our president to hand over his birth certificate,” she said. “His implication was that Barack Obama was the beneficiary of affirmative action and that he took the place of a more qualified White student.”
