Toni Braxton is suing an insurance company that won’t cover a cancelled show.
TMZ reports that she filed suit against Lloyd’s of London because they refuse to pay the losses for a concert she had to miss in 2006 due to heart problems.
In the suit, Toni states that she bought “non-appearance” and “cancellation” insurance, which should have protected her.
Now, Lloyd’s won’t pony up to pay the damages for her show at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas. She claims that they’re ducking the bill because, according to them, they didn’t know about her pre-existing condition.
There’s no word on how much money she is seeking in the case.
