Couple: Hines Ward & Kym Johnson
In our eyes, Hines can almost do no wrong. From the first episode, he’s surprised us with his ability to move—and he’s just so darn watchable. With his inherent ability to entertain, he’s been a hit with the judges and the home audience.
Although we haven’t loved all of his routines, he’s been a solid performer. But every MVP has an off day, and the judges think Hines could have done a little better with his Quickstep earlier this season.
Lucky for Hines, he got another shot at the Quickstep in the season finale. Judges scrutinized his footwork the first time around. While we thought he did an awesome job, the panel couldn’t stand watching his feet fumble across the floor.
This time, to make sure that Hines was perfectly in-step with his partner, judge Len Goodman showed up to help him practice. It seems the extra attention from the toughest judge on "DWTS" did a world of wonder for the NFL star.
Hines and Kym burst onto the floor with the best Quickstep we’ve seen all season! They amped up their usual magnetism and backed up their flash with solid choreography that was expertly executed. Their Quickstep had an amazing amount of bounce to it.
