Teyana Taylor explains Rihanna beef
Teyana Taylor is explaining what motivated her to snap on Rihanna, after the sing poked fun at her for singing on Instagram. Hours after her epic online battle with the “Diamonds” singer, Hot 97 caught up with Teyana who said that it took her absolutely no time to detect the shade.
“You got a dude singing ‘Caught Up in the Rapture of Love’ with big hair, a snap back and some Jordans on. I just sung that a week ago. I put up a video a week ago,” Teyana pointed out.”['Caught Up in the Rapture of Love'] is not a recent song.”
Some might argue that Rihanna was just having a little fun, but Teyana believes that she did it to be mean because of RiRi’s affinity for making fun of others. “It’s not always fun and games all the time. You do it, you get away with it. You tried me. You clap and I clapped back,” Teyana explained. “You didn’t think that it would go as far as it did, but you can’t do that to everybody.”
Teyana continued, “I really do think she’s a cyber bully. I really do. I think she has dope music. I’m not no hater. Dope music is dope music. She’s a pretty girl, but that don’t mean you can just bully anybody. It don’t work like that.”
Rihanna launched the final salvo by posting her and Teyana’s comparative net worths as the background of her Twitter. But the “Google Me” singer isn’t terribly impressed by the move because she thinks it means RiRi has too much time on her hands.
