Pop icon Michael Jackson has more legal drama now that his former manager and spokesperson is suing him.
Raymone Bain announced May 5 that she’s filed suit against her old boss.
“It is with deep regret that I find myself at this place, having to file a lawsuit against my longtime employer, and someone whom I have greatly admired and respected,” she said in a statement. “[Michael] and I have had a long, productive and mutually beneficial business relationship.”
However, all was not well in Neverland as, she said, Mijac wasn’t coming out of pocket to pay for her services.
“Unfortunately, [Michael] has elected not to honor the financial obligations of our contractual relationship, despite my numerous attempts to amicably resolve this matter,” she explained.
Raymone said she expects this to affect her dealings with Michael in the near future, and she’s not expecting him to handle the suit silently.
“This lawsuit will result in some discussion about the relationship between Mr. Jackson and me,” she said. “Hypothetical theories, accusations and rumors, if gauging from the past, will be many. However, all of these will be replaced in court with the truth.”
