‘Love & Hip Hop’ newbie Tara Wallace hasn’t got too many kind things to say about Peter Gunz’s jumpoff/wifey Amina Buddafly.
This season of “Love & Hip Hop” is going to be good! How do we know? For starters, Mona Scott-Young managed to bring some of the elements that made “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” so popular to NYC. And we’re not just talking about K.Michelle.
Some of the New York rookies have added a volatile new love triangle to the cast dynamic as Peter finds himself involved with two lovely ladies. First, there’s Tara. She’s the mother of his children and they’ve been together for 13 years. Then there’s his artist Amina Buddafly, who has aspirations of being his wife as well as his client. And she claims he’s already put a ring on it!
“My relationship to Peter is like we’re married. We’re a married couple,” Amina told VH1 on Monday night, acknowledging that she was a side piece for a while. “He has children with somebody else that he has been with for a long time and they have a lot of history. She didn’t know about this”
Tara’s not really sweating the messy state of affairs or Amina, though. “My current situation with Amina is nothing. I mean my feelings for her are what they are; I think she’s choosing to be with a man that she knows has a family,” Tara told VH1 before slapping her with a weighty label. “For lack of a better word: Homewrecker.”
While the man in the middle himself was not at the “Love & Hip Hop” season 4 premiere viewing party, his friend Rich Dollaz spoke up for the rapper. “I don’t think he knew what he was signing up for,” Rich confessed. “I think Peter has sometimes followed his heart and it wasn’t the most rational or the most realistic thing to do.”
