Birdman put his money where his mouth is, but he probably should have kept his trap shut.
We know that Birdman can pick a winner. In February, he famously won $1 million after betting on the Green Bay Packers to win the Super Bowl. Not to mention he nurtured Lil Wayne’s early career.
Unfortunately for Birdman, and his bank account, things didn’t quite work out so well when wagering on the NBA Finals. The Cash Money Records CEO just knew that the Miami Heat and LeBron James would come out on top.
"Don’t panic real n****z know tha rules stay focus.miami heat YMCMBusiness.2million gone turn 2. 4m," he tweeted during the game.
Birdman’s hopes were dashed on Sunday, however, as the Dallas Mavericks clinched the championship, beating the Heat 105-95. Despite his loss, he and Weezy still celebrated with the Mavs, like any good sport would do.
