Bravo is coming to Chocolate City for the next installment of its popular “Real Housewives” franchise.
Bravo announced that it’s taking a look into the lives of Washington, D.C.’s elite. E! Online reports that the show is still casting, so there’s no word on which wives we’ll be welcoming into our homes.
"We’re tapping personalities who are among Washington D.C.’s influential players,” said Bravo’s executive vice president, Frances Berwick, “cultural connoisseurs, fashion sophisticates and philanthropic leaders – the people who rub elbows with the most prominent people in the country and easily move in the city’s diverse political and social circles."
Hmmm…in a city that’s all about politics and public image, we’re trying to figure out how they’ll find a wife that’s not afraid to bring the drama.
We just hope that Bravo manages to find at least one Black housewife. We realize that casting Michelle Obama is just wishful thinking on our part, although she would have been perfect for the show.
This will be Bravo’s fifth incarnation of their popular series. The most recent series is set in New Jersey, but our favorite is still the ATL show.
