Ex-wife of the D.C. Sniper describes her life before and after the shootings

Police say Mildred Muhammad was the next person on D.C. Sniper John Muhammad’s list. He and John Lee Malvo killed 10 people and terrorized the Washington, D.C. region in 2002.

Mildred is releasing a book about her life with John titled Scared Silent. In her interview with Sister 2 Sister’s publisher Jamie Foster Brown she talks about how joining the Nation of Islam made her a stronger woman. And how her newfound strength made her John’s enemy and led to him kidnapping their children. Read her full interview in the July 2009 issue of Sister 2 Sister.

In this video, Mildred says she was offered money to tell the National Enquirer that Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan was behind the sniper shootings.
