Tia Mowry-Hardrict knows a thing or two about motherhood, but the same can’t be said for her “Instant Mom” character, Stephanie.

“Stephanie is kind of the ‘Sex and the City’ chick. She loves fashion. She loves drinking. She just loves having a great time,” Tia told OK magazine.

Things change for Stephanie when she falls in love with a doctor who’s 10 years her senior. He keeps his three children on the weekends, but when the kids’ mother’s responsibilities change, they move in with him, making Stephanie an instant mom.

“Stephanie has no idea what she’s doing. She’s feeding the kids marshmallows for dinner, but she thinks she know what she’s doing,” said Tia whose character gets some help from her on-screen mom, Sheryl Lee Ralph.

Tia’s not just starring in the Nick-at-Nite show, she’s also has a behind-the-scenes role.

“This is the first project, as well, that I’ll be executive producing on as a television show,” said Tia who feels “Instant Mom” brings something new to the TV landscape.

“It’s a fun, cool, fresh, chaotic, vibrant show. These kids are so talented, and I think that’s the heart of the show. The heart of the show is seeing how Stephanie tries to become…the best mom that she can possibly be, but it’s hard, but it’s a great, great, show, and I’m very, very happy to be apart of it,” said Tia.

“It may not be the resolution that everybody’s expecting. I think that it’s a very dramatic ending and I think it’s going to leave a lot of questions for a lot of people,” Mariah told OK magazine.

Though her fisticuffs with Toya Bush-Harris was the most dramatic and talked about moment of the season, Mariah said Toya’s not the one she has the most unresolved issues with now.

“As much as I don’t like some things about Toya, I see past it, or I’m able to forgive her,” Mariah said. “With Kari [Wells], I think she is very fabricated. It’s hard for me to get along with a person that just lies from beginning to end, just lies, everything out their mouth is a lie! I just can’t take a liar.”

There were apparently quite a few untruths flying around during season 1 of the show, but Mariah wasn’t specific about which of Kari’s lies bothered her the most.

Though she’s forgiven her co-stars, many of whom seemed to support Toya after the two fought, she said forgetting won’t be so easy.

“I think my husband said it best in the last episode. I mean, you can forgive, but you never forget and I think when people show you who they are, you believe them,” she said.

Part 1 of the finale airs Sunday and the outspoken Mariah said she doesn’t hold back.

“ I definitely kind of take my thrown back and just kind of let people know this is how it’s going to be as far as I’m concerned,” she said. “It’s one of the best damn reunions I’ve seen…and I watch all the shows. Sometimes you can just cut somebody with your words and there was a lot of that there.

Porsha and Mariah wore the exact same Lanvin dress while promoting “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and “American Idol” respectively this spring.

Porsha set off dress with silver accessories from head to toe, with a sparkly necklace, bangle bracelet and a pair of silver Jimmy Choo pumps. Mariah seemed to have a similar idea with the styling, but she went a different direction with the shoes by wearing a pair of Christian Loubutin Pluminette heels.

The Public Enemy hype man returns to VH1 June 12 on season 3 of “Couples Therapy,” which “examines the complicated and often misunderstood world of high-profile relationships,” according to a press release.

For most of his VH1 career, Flav was looking for love, but now that he’s found it, it hasn’t all been sugary sweet.

He’ll be featured on the show with fiancee and babymama Elizabeth Trujillo, who was reportedly hospitalized during taping of the show.

Many believed drug use was the cause, but a rep for Flav said that “could not be further from the truth” and indicated that exhaustion was behind the health scare.

Flav, who has starred in three separate VH1 reality series, proposed to Liz during the “Flavor of Love” season 2 reunion show.

Rapper Chingy and actress Temple Poteat will also be featured on the show.

Nearly a year after they renewed their vows, rumors have been circulating recently that Kirk and Rasheeda are headed for a split. And while Kirk is quick to defend Rasheeda against any threats outside of their marriage, they’re not seeing eye-to-eye at home.

And on next week’s episode of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” neither of them seem all that thrilled with the news that she’s expecting again. VH1 has even teased an incident where Kirk asks her for a DNA test to determine the paternity of the unborn child. That coupled with the fact that Rasheeda and her baby bump have been popping up to a lot of events solo, has people wondering if there is any truth to the divorce gossip.

Rasheeda has denied whispers of a split, but Kirk has kept mum on the matter until now. During a chat with Hip Hop Daily Press, Kirk dodged giving a direct answer about the current status of his marriage, opting instead to explain that working with your spouse can sometimes bring drama into an otherwise happy home.

“That’s [the business] the most challenging part about the relationship, other than the relationship itself. Rasheeda is my friend, we’re always gonna be friends and that’s the good part about it,” Kirk said.

“We argue back and forth like brothers and sisters in a way because of the artist thing. She has things she thinks she should do as an artist and I have things I think she should do as an artist,” he elaborated. “With her being a wife, she can do things that an artist can’t do, which again I try to tell her if she were another artist it wouldn’t work this way.”

Even with all of the ups and downs of his marriage being played out on TV, Kirk’s not giving on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.” And, if they asked him to return for season 3, he would not hesitate to sign on for another round.

“I would do it. There is some type of enjoyment that you get out of the work as well,” Kirk told Hip Hop Daily Press. “I’m not looking to not do Love & Hip Hop. There is so much going on in the second season, I can’t even think where [we would] go from here.”

“I’m really cool with dude. He hit me like, ‘Yo, I want to ask your sister to marry me. Is it cool?’ He called my pops and all that kind of stuff,” Ray J explained to the DJs at Power 105.1.

He said he didn’t have to pull Ryan aside and issue any threats, but the two did talk. Whatever the fellas discussed must have been enough for Ray J to issue his blessing; although, he’s aware the final decision wasn’t his.

“We grown. As long as she’s happy, I’m happy,” said Brandy’s protective younger brother. “I’m always there for her. I’m always her third eye if she need me.”

The two haven’t tied the knot yet, but fans are expecting to hear Brandy’s wedding bells ringing in the near future.

“I’m ready to get it done. I’m not trying to be engaged for a long time. Ain’t nobody got time for that,” Brandy told Sister 2 Sister earlier this year.

As for his personal life, Ray J isn’t exactly denying rumors that he’s dating Teairra Marie.

“She’s with me all day,” he said about the singer. “We been rocking for a minute, and she’s been supporting me. I have nothing but love for her.”

Tamera Mowry-Housley is letting you in on her tricks for getting a shimmering crown of natural curls.

Tamera and her sister Tia fully embrace the versatility of their hair, switching between straight and curly styles like most people change shoes. When Tamera recently posted a pic of shining ringlets, we had to know her secret! Lucky for us, she shared some of her tips on her official blog!

According to reports, half of the cast members opted not to attend a taping for the upcoming season. Those no-shows were MIA in protest, in hopes that they’ll persuade the production team to bump their salaries, TMZ reports.

While some cast members reportedly want twice as much as they made previously, money doesn’t seem to be the only issue. Apparently, many of the show’s stars are also upset with the ways they were portrayed on the most recent season.

It’s unclear whether those who did show up are happy with the current contract negotiations or if they were just trying to keep the peace. In the end, the cast members that did attend ended up leaving, not quite feeling the love in “Love & Hip Hop.”

VH1 hadn’t yet announced which stars would be returning or joining the season 4 cast; however, “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” co-star, K.Michelle, announced earlier this week that she is joining the NYC original series.

No cast or crew members have commented on the news at this time.
