Even though Mathew Knowles supposedly doesn’t want LeToya Luckett to perform at the BET Awards, she won’t let that ruin her night.
 
LeToya told WPGC radio station that she is still going to the Awards later this month. And although the singer’s not sure if rumors of Mathew threatening to pull Beyoncé from the show if she performs are true, she gave DJ Flexx her thoughts on the matter.
 
“Our situation happened close to 10 years ago. … I just don’t understand why I’m picked [out of] that group because there are so many other female artists performing that night, and I think we all deserve to have a chance at that stage,” LeToya said. “Everybody works hard and we all have something different to offer, from Keyshia to Keri to Bey. Everybody is different in their own ways, so it saddens me if that’s true, and I hope that’s not the case; but I’ll be there regardless.”
