New mommy Jennifer Hudson thinks her son David Daniel Otunga Jr. might have his sights on the family business.
 
Jen, who performed at the Wizard of Oz Netflix concert Tuesday, took a little time before her gig to talk about her baby boy. She told Usmagazine.com that she could already tell that music soothes his little soul.
 
"He seems like he's very interested in music already," she explained. "The other night he was having a fit and screaming and sometimes when I play music, he will just calm down. I was exactly the same way."
 
And Jen’s already done a few impromptu collaborations with him to keep her singing chops sharp. She said that when he starts crying she’ll sometimes try to harmonize with him. David, born August 10, is already trying to become his own man, though.
 
"He's turning over, he lifts his head up, he's trying to hold his own bottles,” J. Hud shared. “I think he's a very rare newborn. He's the cutest thing in the world, I promise you."
 
Jen and fiancé David “Punk” Otunga are already cooking up ways to spoil their son for his very first Christmas, but they’ve got to get through Halloween first. Lucky for Jr., his daddy handled that already when he bought a costume for the baby.
 
"This is the first one, so I'm going to have to go all out. I'm going to dress him up like Santa Claus,” Jennifer dished. “It's going to be great!"
