Keyshia Cole’s mother Frankie had an emotional moment before the BET Hop Hop awards this weekend.

 
Frankie showed up to the event in Atlanta this weekend in her usual high spirits. But while talking to Juice Magazine on the red carpet, she made a quick joke about Keyshia needing to give her a loan.
 
That quick laugh turned into her testifying about how grateful she really was to Keyshia for “raising” her.
 
“When I got out of prison, if it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t be walking the red carpet. Shout out to God,” said Frankie. “My baby gave me so much encouragement.”
 
The reality TV star seemed to hold herself together pretty well on camera, but that changed as soon as she continued further down the red carpet.
