Lil’ Wayne is the next rapper in for a lengthy stay at Club Fed since he copped a plea deal.
 
The New York Daily News reports that Weezy pleaded guilty to felony gun charges as part of his agreement, and he’ll spend a year in prison.

 
The rapper was slapped with the charges two years ago after authorities found a loaded .9-mm gun on his tour bus. Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Charles Solomon said taking the plea “greatly reduced” Wayne’s prison sentence. He would otherwise have been facing a 3-1/2-to7-year term
 
Wayne entered his plea during a pre-trial hearing, much earlier than anyone expected.  For now, the rapper is out on bail, and he’ll be sentenced in February.
