Shaq and Shaunie O’Neal’s split couldn’t have come at a more awkward time: The estranged couple had been working a reality show.
 
According to TMZ.com, Shaq and Shaunie had taped a pilot for their reality show called “Love Shaq.” It’s a reality show on the order of MTV’s “Meet the Barkers,” Newlyweds” and “’Til Death Do Us Part.” All of those shows centered on celebrity couples, all of whom split up—whether briefly or not—after the series finales aired.
 
After seeing the A&E pilot, the network is still contemplating buying the show. However, a major wrench was thrown into the production schedule for “Love Shaq” when Shaunie and her kids abruptly moved to Los Angeles where she filed for a legal separation.
