J. Hud needs more time
Mon, 12/22/2008 - 12:12 — Anonymous

Last week it was reported that J. Hud was going to film the video for her single “If This Isn’t Love,” but now plans for the shoot have been scrapped, USmagazine.com reports.
“The video was set up before the tragedy and she felt like she should finish what she started, but she's realized that she's not ready to go back to work," a source told the site. "It's too early."
Our attempts to reach Jen’s management for comment have been unanswered.
Jen had originally been preparing to film the video when her mom, Darnell Hudson Donerson, and brother, Jason Hudson, were found shot to death in their South Side Chicago home on October 24. Her 7-year- old nephew, Julian King, also went missing that day. His body was found in a sport utility vehicle three days later.
Jennifer’s estranged brother-in-law, William Balfour, has been charged with the murders. Prosecutors say he may have been set off by a birthday gift he thought his wife, Julia Hudson, had gotten from another man. People.com reports Julia celebrated her 31st birthday with a small party the night before the shootings.
Since the murders, Jennifer has kept a low profile, but support has been overwhelming from fans and celebrities alike. January’s issue of Sister 2 Sisterfeatures a tribute to Jen and her family, packed with messages of prayer and support from stars like Kirk Franklin, Niecy Nash and Samel L. Jackson, just to name a few.
January’s S2S, featuring Brandy on the cover, hits stands on December 16. Be sure to pick up a copy and read our investigative article revealing why Jen and her family never once thought about leaving their beloved Englewood community, despite its reputation.
