Tiny and Toya Carter will be getting their housewife on when their reality show hits BET next month.
 
According to BET, “Tiny and Toya” is set in the heart of Atlanta and it follows the day-to-day lives of the ladies. Don’t expect them to be flashing cash like their Bravo contemporaries, though.
 
“We do a little shopping, but that’s not what it’s all about,” Toya told S2S.  “It’s just about things that we’re trying to accomplish on our own, like just us being parents, good friends.”  From what she said, doing the series has actually strengthened he friendship with Tiny, whom she said is like a “big sister” to her.
 
Some of the goals the Tiny and Toya have set for themselves include establishing their own public identities as more than just being women attached to high-profile rappers. Tiny is T.I.’s fiancée and Toya is Lil Wayne’s first wife.
 
Viewers will also get to see the ladies going after their own business ventures, like that salon we told you Tiny was working on earlier this year.
 
From what Toya told us, the series should be low on cast rivalries over who gets more camera time. We know a lot of people will be tuning in to just find out what Tiny is up to, but Toya isn’t worried about who will shine more on the show.
 
“People ask me all the time, ‘How it feel going out with Tiny? She gets so much attention.’  You gotta understand Tiny was a singer,” she explained. “She got her own fans and the people that know her through Tip, so why would I be mad for that?  That’s my girl.”
 
Kandi Burruss told us a couple months ago that she was originally supposed to be the other mom on the show.  But as we all know by now, she was later offered a spot on the “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
 
“Tiny and Toya” debuts June 30 at 10 p.m., but you can catch a sneek peek of it on June 28 right after the BET Awards.
