2. Election 2012 Countdown: 35 days
There are only 35 days between now and the 2012 Presidential Election, and you don’t want to miss it. Now might be a good time to think about who you want to run the country for the next four years.
With the finish line in their sights, and after endless rounds of political ads and some mudslinging, President Barack Obama and GOP candidate Mitt Romney will talk about the issues tomorrow night during their first presidential debate.
While some states will allow you to register to vote at the polls, it’s a good idea to get that done ahead of schedule. If you haven’t done it yet, visit USA.gov to see how many days you still have to sign up and where you can register.
