3. MLK assassination movie in the works
A movie about the last days Martin Luther King Jr. has gotten new life. Deadline.com reports that Veritas is in talks to fund Memphis with Wild Bunch.
Originally slated to be released on MLK weekend, the film was shelved when Universal Pictures backed out of the project. By that point, it was too hard for director Paul Greengrass and producer Scott Rudin to find new financiers and shoot Memphis in time.
