1. Dawn Richard pays tribute to Danity Kane
Dawn Richard is paying hommage to her past while moving into her future. It has been a busy year for Dawn, who dropped her Armor On EP and released her offical debut album Golden Heart earlier this year, and she shows no signs of slowing down!
NecoleBitchie.com reports that the singer is planning to release another EP titled White Out around the holidays, and she’s prepping a short film titled 86′. The mini-movie will see Dawn bring out her inner warrior diva, some of her co-stars might remind you of her Danity Kane group mates.
That’s no coincidence according to Dawn. “86′ is a homage to my past. Everyone wants to look at the Danity Kane thing as a negative but it’s a positive. The girls have been and continue to be a guiding force in my journey throughout this music business.”
