5. Japanese airline to offer KFC on flights
Ever been on a flight and thought, "some fried chicken would be GREAT right now?" Well, one Japanese airline wants to give its passengers the option of snacking on a leg while flying the friendly skies.
FOX News reports that Japan Airlines is linking up with KFC to offer a two-piece dinner as the second meal on flights to New York, San Diego, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, London, Frankfurt and Paris. The meals, dubbed "Air Kentucky," will consist of a drumstick, a chicken breast, flat bread and coleslaw made with "special mayo."
Air Kentucky will be running as a pilot program out of Narita Airport this winter from December 1 to February 28.
