6. Obama verbally tangles with reporter
Don’t mess with President Barack Obama! When the president gave the last press conference of his first term, CBS reporter Major Garrett tried to corner him on voting against the debt ceiling. At one point, his tone was really out of line.
After repeatedly being interrupted, the president said, "Major, I am happy to have a conversation about how we reduce out deficits. I am not going to have a monthly—or every three months—conversation about whether or not we pay our bills."
He added, "We just had an entire campaign about it. And, by the way, the American people agreed with me that we should reduce our deficits in a balanced way."
