2. Naomi Campbell suing over elephant polo claims
Naomi Campbell don’t play! Fashionologie.com reports that the supermodel is suing British newspaper The Daily Telegraph over an article that claimed she was plotting an elephant polo tournament in India.
The write-up, published last month, alleges that Naomi set up for the games as part of the birthday festivities for her Russian real estate beau’s birthday.
"The simple truth is that there was no plan for elephant polo," Naomi’s lawyer Gideon Benaim said in a statement. "Ms. Campbell did not cancel it because it was never going to happen in the first place. We have as yet no idea where the false claims originated from; perhaps the Telegraph will let us know in due course."
