6. Vanessa Williams is Broadway bound
Oscar winner Cuba Gooding, Jr. and former "Desperate Housewives" star, Vanessa Williams, will be starring together in The Trip to the Bountiful on Broadway.
Condola Rashad, daughter of Phylicia Rashad, and Cicely Tyson have also signed on for the play, which tells the story of Carrie Watts, "an elderly woman who dreams of returning to her small hometown of Bountiful, TX one last time, against the wishes of her overprotective son and domineering daughter-in-law," according to Entertainment Weekly.
Cuba and Vanessa play the couple in the drama, which won an Academy Award as a feature film.
