7. Serena unfazed by ‘racist’ mockery
Serena Williams is not making a big deal out of a recent incident in which fellow tennis player Caroline Wozniacki walked out onto the court with a stuffed bra and panty.
"I know Caro and I would call her my friend and I don’t think she [meant] anything racist by it, Serena wrote in an email.
While many called Caroline’s teasing "racist," Serena said she doesn’t even really have time to stress about it one way or the other.
"At the end of the day, I spend my time focused on things to become better and not bring me down," she said.
