Marvin Gaye’s son is not pleased with news that his father’s life will be turned into a movie. Specifically, he’s unhappy with which part of the soul singer’s life filmmakers are choosing to focus on.
"The producers and directors of this film are very wrong and shameful," Marvin Gaye II told TMZ. "[They're] trying to do a film about a low period in his life. They don’t even know the whole story."
Marvin III may also have a bone to pick with the talent as he and Lenny Kravitz, who is slated to star in the biopic, were classmates growing up. Marvin III would like a chance to chat with Lenny to get an understanding of "why he would do this."
