2. Eve starts her own label
Eve’s a boss chick! The "She Bad Bad" rapper has gotten into business for herself by starting a new record label.
BrownSista.com reports that Eve will be releasing her long awaited album Lip Lock via her FTR Music imprint under Sony Music Group. FTR stands for From The Rib, and Eve is hoping her first release on the label will remind people how talented she is.
“One of the biggest things that I wanted to do on this album was make people realize why they fell in love with me in the first place and then take them on a journey to where I am now musically," Eve said in a statement. "My ear is different but I think people will recognize me."
She added, "I think you’ll hear that I’m in a happy place. I miss my music. My hunger is different than the first time around.”
