11. Star Jones blasts Olivia Pope being a mistress
Star Jones loves everything about "Scandal." Well…almost everything.
The TV personality isn’t feeling the fact that main character Olivia Pope is choosing to sleep with a married White man when a single Black man has asked for her hand in marriage.
"Why does #OliviaPope reject fine azz Senate Maj Leader #EdisonDavis for married #POTUS w/ a pregnant wife?" Star asked "Scandal" creator Shonda Rhimes via Twitter. I get POWER…I get POSITION…but @shondaRhimes can the fierce powerful SINGLE sister pick the fierce powerful SINGLE brother?
Star added, "I love #scandal. @kerrywashington is ridiculously good…but I’d love to see #OliviaPope reject the unethical & immoral for a good brother!"
And Star isn’t giving Olivia a pass just for being awesome either. She weighed in rather unfavorably on Olivia when another fan commented on her relationship with "Edison" threatened to prosecute her, called her a whore, then proposed!”
Star reasoned, "He should, she is, he loves her."
