7. Carmelo repeatedly tangles with Kevin Garnett
Carmelo Anthony almost came to blows with Kevin Garnett during Monday’s Knicks-Celtics game. The pair got into a verbal battle, and for a moment it looked like they were about to brawl on the court.
It’s not clear why they were beefing. According to RadarOnline.com, though, Kevin supposedly told Carmelo that his wife LaLa Anthony “tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios.” While that jab has yet to be confirmed, the NBA players went at it again after the game!
”There’s certain things that you just don’t say to men, another man," Melo told reporters. "I felt like we crossed a line, but like I said, we both have an understanding right now. We handled it the way we handled it. Nobody needs to know what was said behind closed doors, so that situation was handled.”
