Soledad O’Brien leaving CNN?
The sun might be setting on Sloledad O’Brien’s time at CNN. It’s been announced that the anchor, who headed up the network’s Black In America series of specials, will be leaving CNN.
The New York Post reports that new network boss Jeff Zucker wants Erin Burnett to take over for Soledad on “Starting Point.” But what does that mean for Soledad?
“The deal to move Erin to the morning alongside Chris Cuomo is basically done,” a source told the Post. “Soledad had been told she’d get a prime-time slot, but that hasn’t yet happened, and now she is telling friends she is likely to leave.”
