JET addresses Fantasia
JET has responded to Fantasia’s demand for an apology. Last week the “When I See You” singer went off about the mini-magazine using an old picture of her for the cover of its latest issue.
JET wasted no time having its say in a statement that reminded the diva that it has the final say in what the cover looks like.
“JET magazine is honored to have Fantasia grace the cover of its March issue. It is unfortunate that Fantasia is displeased with the cover selection, however Jet stands by its decision,” JET Editor In Chief Mitzi Miller said in a statement. “As standard editorial practice, Jet consulted with Fantasia’s team, but reserves the right to select the image we deem as most appropriate for JET’s brand and reflective of the cover story sentiment.”
