Beyoncé talks body for ‘Shape’
It’s not easy to look like Beyoncé, even for Beyoncé! The “Love On Top” diva told Shape magazine that her bodacious frame is a hard-earned and she hade no time to waste in getting her body back after delivering her daughter Blue Ivy.
“I gained 57 pounds when I was pregnant. I didn’t have a lot of time to lose the weight, because I scheduled a show three months after I gave birth, which I would never do again,” Bey told ‘Shape’ magazine. “I’m not a person that is naturally very thin. I am a person that has to work at keeping my body in shape.”
While she’s got her workout down to a science, she said that her routine is not for everybody. “For me, dancing is what keeps active and I would just say everyone is not supposed to be the same” Bey stated. “Be healthy and take care of yourself but be happy with the beautiful things that make you you.”
