Toni Braxton and Tracee Ellis Ross honor Black radio
Tracee Ellis Ross and Toni Braxton are linking up to take a look back at how the Black community has shaped radio over the past 50 years.
Tracee will be hosting WVON’S IMPACT 50 GALA on April 6 at the Chicago Theatre. Toni will be adding her voice to the evening with a performance, and Andrea Kelly of VH1’s “Hollywood Exes” will be providing even more entertainment for the night with a dance routine that chronicles the Black radio experience!
Andrea Kelly, Al Sharpton, Dick Gregory, and Cathy Hughes will all be on hand for the event as well. The event starts at 7 p.m., but doors open at 6 p.m.
The gala will be the highlight of a weekend of events, any interested in tickets for the festivities should visit WVON.com or TheChicagoTheatre.com
