Did Jay-Z sample his own biography Decoded?!
The New York Daily News reports that writer Patrick White filed suit against Hov on June 13, accusing him of plagiarism.
“In 2009, my personal computer was compromised, resulting in my personal work to be used in Jay-Z’s book Decoded which was released in 2010,” Pat claimed in his handwritten lawsuit.
“The book contains various expressions/colors/phrases which correlates to my work,” he added. “After contacting or attempting to contact the co-aurthor, I got no reply.”
Patrick is also suing author Dream Hampton and publisher Random House. He’s seeking damages for plagiarism and infringement.
