1. Floyd Mayweather starts jail sentence
Floyd Mayweather has turned himself in for assault and has begun to serve his time behind bars.
The boxer, who won his May 5 bout, will be spending three months in a Las Vegas jail. He received the sentence once convicted of attacking his baby Josie Harris in front of their two children back in September 2010.
He’ll be serving his time at the Clark County Detention Center in a solo cell, and he will only be allowed out for one hour a day.
"He’ll be all right. It’s an uncomfortable situation for everyone. Everyone has a different version of the same story. It’s no different than anyone going through a divorce and how your friends can become your vested enemies."
