6. Usher’s family friend investigated in jet ski accident
Authorities have released the name of the man responsible in the tragic jet ski accident that’s left Usher’s stepson brain dead.
The New York Daily News reports that family friend Jeffrey S. Hubbard is under investigation in the crash.
"Basically, a pontoon was pulling two juveniles on an inner tube, and the watercraft ran over the top of them,” Sgt. Mike Burgamy of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources told the Daily News.
Investigators don’t believe alcohol or a mechanical malfunction were factors in the crash.
