8. Chad Johnson in foreclosure?
Somehow, Chad Johnson’s week wrapped up just as badly as it started. TheYBF.com reports that the NFL player, who lost his spot on the Miami Dolphins after his arrest for allegedly head-butting his wife Evelyn Lozada, is facing foreclosure.
Supposedly, he hasn’t paid the $863 monthly maintenance fees on his $400,000 Miami condo since June 2009, so he owes just over $28,700. Chad just took out a $150,000 mortgage on the condo, borrowing from two Palm Beach County investors.
He’s got until June 2015 to pay them back; if he can’t pay up, one of his babymamas could lose the $350,000 house he bought her because he used the home as collateral for the loan.
To top it all off, the island of St. Maarten is demanding that Chad pay them $90,000 for his July 4 wedding. St. Maarten newspaper Today reports that the island gave him and Evelyn their wedding at Le Chateau des Palmiers in exchange for publicity on "Ev & Ocho." Since the show has been cancelled, the Finance Minister wants the money back.
