8. Married pastor spreads HIV?
It seems a wolf was attending the flock. Married pastor Craig Lamar Davis has been arrested for allegedly spreading HIV throughout his congregation.
WVIG reports that the Atlanta preacher was taken into custody after it was discovered that he was having unprotected sex with several women from his church. One of his victims, Ronita McAfee, told police that Craig only told her he was HIV positive after they had slept together. Supposedly, he’d contracted it from an ex-girlfriend.
While Ronita tested negative for HIV, she found out that another victim of his had tested positive when she went to fill reckless behavior charges against the preacher.
Craig was released on bail after it was initially denied. Reportedly, his wife paid for him to be set free. Authorities believe Craig may have had more victims, but no one else has come forward at this time.
