6. Behind the Scenes: Solange’s ‘Losing You’
Solange’s place will be a cross section of different cultures in the video for "Losing You," which will reference an iconic teen movie.
“We’re playing a typical party game called ‘Suck and Blow.’ It was based on something Solange had seen in Clueless," video director Alan Del Ortiz told MTV. "She just really liked the idea of having her friends together in a room."
Solange added, "If you haven’t seen Clueless, it will change your life. It’s such an iconic moment in time, especially for my generation.”
The stylish singer also brought one of her favorite artists, Mickalene Thomas, onboard to design the entire set of "Losing You." "I’m always interested in collaborating with other artists and it was quite exciting that she was inspired by my work," Mickalene said.
