Michael Clarke Duncan has passed away at the age of 54. The Green Mile star died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Monday.
Michael had suffered a heart attack back in July and he never fully recovered. Had his fiancee, Omarosa Manigault Stallworth, not performed CPR on the actor during the attack, he might have died that night.
TMZ.com reports that Omarosa’s mother was by his side when he suddenly passed because Omarosa, who had planned to marry Michael in January, had stepped out of the room for a moment. When the reality TV star-turned-reverend returned, Michael was dead.
Omarosa has released a statement on her fiance’s death, expressing her gratitude for "all of your prayers and asks for privacy at this time."
She added, "Celebrations of his life, both private and public, will be announced at a later date."
